HubStar is heading to Birmingham this April for The Workplace Event 2026, and we’re hoping to see you there!
Taking place from 28–30 April at the NEC Birmingham, The Workplace Event is one of the UK’s leading gatherings for workplace, facilities management, and corporate real estate professionals. The event brings together thousands of attendees to explore how workplaces are evolving, across technology, experience, operations, and sustainability, and what that means for organisations today.
A shift from space to strategy
The role of a workplace leader is now about understanding how space supports people, performance, and organisational goals. Hybrid working has introduced new patterns of behaviour, but many organisations are still making decisions without a clear picture of what’s actually happening across their estate.
This gap between perception and reality is where many workplace challenges now sit.
From data to decisions
One of the themes shaping the conversation is the growing importance of data (and not just collecting it!) but making it usable.
Workplace and estates teams often have access to multiple data sources, but they remain disconnected. As a result, decisions around space, investment, and strategy can feel reactive or uncertain.
The organisations making the most progress are those that are turning data into something practical: a clear, shared view that supports confident decision-making.
Join our session: What keeps 300 workplace leaders up at night
We’ll be hosting a session in the Technology & Smart Buildings Hub: What keeps 300 workplace leaders up at night?
Joe Harris and Paul Mundy from HubStar will draw on insights from 13 private roundtables across six cities alongside analysis of 300 million square feet of occupancy data. The session will explore what’s really happening in workplaces today and the challenges leaders are consistently facing.
If you’re looking for a grounded, real-world perspective on workplace strategy, this is one to add to your agenda.
Meet HubStar at stand 3A/T54
You’ll find us at stand 3A/T54.
If you’re responsible for workplace strategy, facilities management, or corporate real estate, this is a chance to step back from day-to-day challenges and explore how others are approaching similar questions.
Whether you’re:
- Reassessing how much space you really need
- Trying to improve utilisation across your portfolio
- Looking to connect fragmented systems and data
- Or planning for the long-term future of your workplace
We’d welcome a conversation.
We’ll be sharing perspectives on how organisations are bringing clarity to complex workplace data, and how that clarity can lead to better decisions, more efficient use of space, and a stronger alignment between workplace and business goals.
